T.J. married Sharon Teel on July 25, 1987 and has lived with Sharon on the Teel farm in Salem since 1988. T.J. has been a proud volunteer in Salem since 1988. He has coached Tball, baseball, softball, President of the Salem Softball league, supervised the teen rec league basketball and coached youth league basketball. He has served on the Salem Board of Finance, serving as Chair for 4 years, the Salem Democratic Town Committee, serving as Chair for 4 years, the Salem Land Trust and the Salem Unsung Hero’s Committee. He is also a DEEP Master Wildlife Conservationist volunteering at the Zemko Pond Wildlife Management Area here in Salem. T.J. and Sharon have raised four children andfour foster children here in Salem and currently have two Grandchildren living with them and attending Salem Schools. They have raised 7 Newfoundlands and one Newfy Wannabe here is Salem.
