My wife and I have resided in Salem for 29 years.
Education: B.S. The Ohio State University and Ed.D. University of Massachusetts
I served as an Officer in the US Army Signal Corps from 1969 to 1972. Raising to the rank of Captain.
In my 42 year work career, I held various executive, administrative, directional, and managerial positions. I retired in 2011, after 14 years as Regional Director for the Connecticut Department of Developmental Disabilities, responsible for services to over 5,200 individuals with intellectual disabilities and with a budget over $280 million dollars.
Was a member of the Salem Board of Finance from 2015 to 2019.
I was a past volunteer with the Unite Way food pantry truck, On the Board of Director of the Salem Unsung Hero Award. I am a member (past Chairperson) of the Salem Democratic Town Committee. Also, provided photos to the Salem Bicentennial Booklet and various Town events. I have been involved with many Professional Committees, Organizations and Boards in my career.
I am running for the Board of Selectman to insure that the town’s government is effective, efficient, and responds to the needs of the residents of Salem. That there is proper oversight of the usage of Salem tax payers money. I am also interested in preserving Salem’s rural environment.
