Tamara Morocco, M.A.
I am running for the Board Education as I believe that ensuring that all our children have the resources they need to become critical thinkers, who are prepared to contribute to society, is our most important mission as a town.
I have resided in Salem for 16 years along with my husband, James. We have 2 sons, a 16-year-old who attends East Lyme High School and a 12-year-old who attends Salem School. I have volunteered for numerous organizations in Salem including Secretary of the Salem School PTO, Committee Chair for Salem Pack 22 Sub Scouts and WEBLOS Den Leader for Pack 22.
At Pfizer, I am a Clinical Project Manager, where my primary responsibilities are to ensure that clinical trials are delivered according to cost, time, and quality goals. As such, I believe my experience in managing large budgets will be an asset to the Board of Education as we try to achieve our goal of providing an exemplary education in our budget constrained environment.
